1. We do not collect reviews about the tools

There is no "rate this bot" button on this site, and there never will be. We publish no user reviews, ratings or testimonials about any product in the ranking.

The reason is practical. In this category a review form would be filled almost entirely by the vendors themselves and by their competitors, and we would have no way to tell which was which. A rating we cannot verify is worse than no rating, because it looks like evidence.

What we publish about each tool is a score, and that score is ours. It is an editorial judgement formed from published documentation, described in the ranking policy, and it is signed by the person who made it.

2. How we quote other people's figures

Where a vendor publishes a performance figure — a win rate, a response time, an accuracy percentage — we may quote it. When we do:

  • it is labelled as the vendor's own claim;
  • the source is the vendor's own material, not a forum summary of it;
  • the date we checked it is on the page.

One figure in this category was produced against an independent opponent over a stated sample. That one is described as a result, the opponent and the sample size are named, and the distinction from a vendor claim is spelled out in the text.

We do not average other people's numbers, and we do not convert them into a rating of our own.

3. Why we do not mark up other people's ratings as ours

We do not publish aggregateRating or Review structured data about any company in this ranking.

Search engines treat that markup as the publisher's own assertion about a business. Emitting it for products we have not tested, based on numbers we did not gather, would put a claim into search results that we cannot stand behind. The star ratings you see in the reader section carry no such markup either.

4. Reviews about the ranking itself

We do publish reader feedback about this site — what works, what is missing, what should be added next.

How it is handled:

  • Source. It arrives by e-mail to the editors. Nothing is collected from third-party review platforms.
  • Editing. Messages are published in condensed form. The substance is kept; the wording is edited for length and clarity.
  • Names. Authors appear by first name and surname initial, with their permission, and with the city they gave. Full surnames and e-mail addresses are never published. This is stated on the block itself.
  • Ratings. The stars beside a message are our reading of what that message says, not a score the reader submitted. That too is stated on the block.
  • Balance. Criticism is published alongside praise. Every request in the current set — a room filter, a cost calculator, a glossary, more screenshots — is a real ask from a real message, and none of it was softened.

We do not publish a message that contradicts something the ranking itself states. Six messages in the current batch were left out for exactly that reason: one credited us with hands-on testing we do not claim to have done, and five described parts of the site that no longer exist in that form.

5. Rules for messages

Anything you send us should be your own words about your own experience. Please do not send:

  • someone else's personal data;
  • account credentials, payment details or identity documents;
  • abuse, threats or anything unlawful;
  • marketing copy for a product, whether yours or a client's — that belongs in the submission form, not here.

6. Moderation

We read everything and publish a small part of it. A message may be shortened, or not published at all, and we are under no obligation to explain a decision.

Sending feedback does not create a right to publication, and publication does not imply we agree with the message.

7. Disputes and corrections

If you sent a message and want it removed, changed or attributed differently, write from the same address and we will act on it.

If you are a vendor who thinks a reader's message misstates a fact about your product, send the correction with a source. Where the fact is wrong we will fix it; where the reader's opinion is simply unflattering, we will leave it.
